What is the difference between solid and hollow?

Solid fills the whole shape; hollow keeps only a wall of the thickness you set. Spheres, domes, and cones become watertight shells, cylinders become open tubes, circles and ellipses become rings, and arches become a band. Hollow shapes use far fewer blocks, which the live block count shows instantly.

Switch the preview to Layers and scrub the slider through every horizontal level. Each layer shows the exact top-down block pattern you place when standing on that level in-game, plus the block count for that layer.

How do I get the shape into Minecraft?

Download the .litematic file and load it from the Litematica mod’s schematics menu, then place it in your world and build along the ghost blocks. The export pins the bounding box, block palette, and total block count so it drops in exactly as previewed.

Up to 256 blocks on each axis. The live 3D preview pauses above roughly 200,000 blocks to stay smooth, but the layer view and the .litematic export keep working at any size.
